Exhibition of artwork by over 20 French and Macau artists organized by “The Centre for Personal Development Studies” with curators Dr François de Verdière (France) and Ka-Fai (Hong Kong) supported by the Corner’s Club will take place at St. Paul Fine Art. Contemporary paintings and photographs will be shown from 9th May to 14th June, 2009. Opening Date: 9 th May, 2009 (Saturday), 5:00 p.m. "Aroma of Art" is part of Open art cultural exchange projects organized by the French based art group " Les 16 Anges" which objectives are to promote artists by international meetings and shows with international participation and to be pro-active for its members with innovative and ambitious projects and to promote eclectic and non discriminating type of art. "Aroma" generally refers to a "pleasant" smell. The term aroma maybe further distinguished from "bouquet "which generally refers to the smells that arise from the chemical reactions of fermentation and aging of the wine. "Aroma of Art" is going to construct a relaxing atmosphere to let us see, smell and taste art like wine. French Wine and Art Appreciation Referring to the theme, Alliance Française de Macao is invited to host a French Wine and Art Appreciation activity during the exhibition. The activity will take place in the gallery, guided by professional tutor with artist’s talk to share their experiences of wine and art. The event will take place on 16th and 23 rd (Saturdays) 5 to 6 pm. 2009 Borderless Arts Member Exhibition

2009『藝術無國界』第一屆會員作品展 『藝術無國界』是一個成立於2008年的國際非牟利藝術組織。目前創會成員二十多名，以不同國籍分佈於多個國家及城市。會員大部份是澳門土生土長或定居在澳門的外籍人士，亦有部份會員目前定居於葡萄牙、新加坡、香港、台灣、及上海等地，且不斷在擴充至世界不同地區。 “2009『藝術無國界』第一屆會員作品展”是『藝術無國界』創會的首個活動。由於成員分散於不同地區，我們希望以會員作品展提供會員們一個交流的機會。 這次展覽將有二十多件作品，其中主要以繪畫及攝影為主。因會員不同的專業及文化背景，使得這次展出的作品風格更多元化。其中我們可以看到一批在澳門成長，由澳門培育出來的年青藝術家的作品和部份從事新聞攝影和寫作的會員，善於以影像描寫社會文化現狀的攝影作品。也有深受中葡文化影響的葡萄牙藝術家們混合了中西元素的繪畫以及來自不同地區，風格異廻的創作。 開幕日期：2009年3月21日 星期六 下午5:00 p.m. 展出日期：2009年3月22日至 5月30日 開放時間：中午十二時至晚上八時 (星期一休息) 地點 ：澳門大三巴巷3,5 & 7 號“三巴角落”一樓展廳 主辦單位：藝術無國界 電郵 ：borderlessarts@yahoo.com 鳴謝： 康納企業管理有限公司 德馨學社 2009 Borderless Arts Members Exhibition Borderless Arts is a non profit arts association formed in 2008. Till now we have 20 some members with different nationalities and located in different countries and cities. Most of our local members are raised in Macau or from other countries while the overseas members are located in Portugal, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai, etc. 2009 Borderless Arts Members Exhibition is our first activity. Since our members are spread in different cities, the member exhibition is a good opportunity for us to meet each others. There are more then 20 pieces of work mainly paintings and photographs will be showed in the exhibition. Based on different cultural background and specialties of members styles of works will be variable. We can see artworks by local raised and educated artists and some of the works by photographers and writers who used to capture and describe the phenomenon of society by vision. We also can see the influences of the Chinese and Portuguese culture from some of our Portuguese artists’ work which is a mixture of the East and the West and creations from different area with diversified styles.
